People in the late 90s went absolutely bonkers about Y2K. They stockpiled canned goods like there was going to be a global apocalypse, built underground bunkers, and even started teaching their pets how to barter for food. It was like everyone suddenly became a survivalist expert, convinced that computers were going to take over and turn us all into zombie slaves. It was a collective case of mass hysteria! The film, directed by SNL alum, Kyle Mooney, follows two high school juniors who find themselves fighting for survival after crashing a New Year's Eve party on the night of 1999. Joining the cast are Jaeden Martell, Julian Dennison, The Kid Laroi, Fred Durst, Mason Gooding, Alicia Silverstone, and Mooney." Watch the trailer:
