Rap Beef Legal Edition: UMG Tells Drake to "Take the L"

Apparently, Universal Music Group thinks Drake's defamation lawsuit is just a "misguided attempt to salve his wounds" after a "spirited exchange of creative differences." You know, the kind where one artist allegedly drops a nuclear diss track and the other sues his own record label. Because that's totally normal. UMG, in their infinite wisdom, suggested Drake should just "chill out" and "embrace the experience." Drake's lawyer, Mike Gottlieb, politely disagreed, saying UMG's motion was a "desperate ploy" to avoid accountability. He implied that UMG was trying to convince everyone it was a friendly game of tag while they were actually playing dodgeball with grenades.
