No Laptop Required: RANE Debuts the World’s First Motorized All-In-One System
Share

RANE has finally delivered what so many of us have been waiting for—a way to get that classic vinyl feel without lugging around a laptop. The RANE SYSTEM ONE is a true standalone setup, with dual 7.2-inch high-torque motorized aluminum platters that really capture the vibe and touch of real records. It runs on the new Engine DJ OS, which makes navigating tracks easy on a crisp 7-inch HD touchscreen. Thanks to the built-in SATA drive bay and Wi-Fi for streaming from Apple Music or TIDAL, this isn’t just a controller—it’s a full-on workstation made for today’s DJ booth.
What really stands out from a production perspective is how stems are built right into the hardware. You get dedicated "Instant Acapella" and "Instrumental" buttons, plus the freedom to break tracks apart with the eight performance pads or the EQ tools that used to be reserved for the studio. Sure, it’s odd that there’s no Ethernet port on a pro-level unit like this, but RANE makes up for it with the MAG FOUR crossfader and a stacked lineup of more than 25 main effects. The SYSTEM ONE feels solid, honors DJ tradition, and pushes performance gear into the future.
