Marvel and Mass Appeal Unite to Launch Legend Has It… Comic Series

A new chapter in pop culture history is about to be written. Mass Appeal and Marvel have joined forces to create Legend Has It..., a limited edition comic series that honors some of New York's most iconic artists.

Inspired by the album series of the same name, this collaboration spotlights seven legends: Nas and DJ Premier, Ghostface Killah, Mobb Deep, Raekwon, Big L, De La Soul, and Slick Rick. By blending Marvel's classic storytelling with Mass Appeal's deep connection to hip-hop, the comic celebrates the enduring influence of these artists through a dynamic visual medium.

Crafted by writer Brandon Thomas and illustrator Sanford Greene, the narrative combines music, mythology, and legacy into a highly collectible item for fans of both hip-hop and comic books.

The first issue will be unveiled on October 10th at New York Comic Con. The debut will be marked by a live panel featuring Nas and other special guests, who will discuss the rich intersection between hip-hop and superhero lore. The comic will also be available for purchase in limited quantities at the event.
