Over the weekend, a past exchange between Azalea and Ye on X/Twitter resurfaced, causing both artists' names to trend. This renewed attention prompted Azalea to share a story on Twitch about a meeting she had with Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) in 2012.

Azalea recounted meeting with the "The Life of Pablo" rapper during the stream to discuss potentially signing with his record label. However, she described a particularly unsettling aspect of the meeting. According to Azalea, Ye presented her with a mood board filled with "so much pornography," which she claimed included pictures of herself.

"This was just weird to me. I really looked up to Kanye so it threw me off. I didn’t know what to say," she said on the stream. "So I was like, ‘Oh, that’s interesting to think that somebody that I really look up to looks at my pictures every morning for inspiration. That’s kind of cool.’ He was like, ‘Yeah, I jack off to them!’ Weird. Don’t know what to say."

Azalea also alleged that Ye inquired about her then-boyfriend's genitals. When she didn't respond, she claimed he encouraged her to allow her boyfriend to sleep with other women, stating it was his "God-given right."

The clip of Azalea's account began circulating online and eventually reached Ye, who confirmed her story in a now-deleted tweet, writing, "This is true."

This incident occurred amidst a recent period of heightened social media activity from Ye, who has been posting inflammatory comments and making disturbing allegations against various individuals, including Beyoncé, Jay-Z, and rapper Playboi Carti. The exchange with Carti stemmed from Ye's disappointment at not being featured on Carti's latest album, "MUSIC." It escalated when Carti tagged Ye's ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, in a post about collaborating with their daughter, North West, on her upcoming album.
