First Look at Star Wars: Skeleton Crew – A New Adventure Begins

With Star Wars taking a brief pause after The Acolyte wrapped last month, excitement is growing for the next live-action series, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, which was announced in July. Details about the Jude Law-led show have been sparse, but the first trailer, unveiled at D23, finally offers a glimpse.

In just under two minutes, the trailer introduces Wim (Ravi Cabot-Conyers), a young boy eager to explore the galaxy. Things quickly escalate as he and three other kids find themselves in unexpected danger. Jude Law's character, Jod, appears near the end, seemingly using the Force, leading Wim to think he might be a Jedi.

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew debuts on December 3, exclusively on Disney+, with a two-episode premiere. Other Star Wars updates from D23 include The Mandalorian and Grogu film set for May 22, 2026, Andor season two in 2025, and LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy on September 13
