Eastside Golf, the lifestyle brand redefining golf’s cultural landscape, hosted its second annual Eastside Golf Invitational at Liberty National Golf Club on Monday, September 16th. The event gathered brand fans, celebrities like Anthony Anderson, Terrence Jenkins, CC Sabathia, Victor Cruz, Angie Martinez, and the Morehouse College golf team, all coming together to experience golf the Eastside way—highlighting authenticity, confidence, and diversity while proving that the sport is for everyone. On the course, players enjoyed unique activations, including offerings from Gin & Juice by Dre and Snoop, as well as Molson Coors. D’USSÉ cognac served its signature D’USSÉ Lemonade cocktail, featuring D’USSÉ VSOP Cognac, on the second hole and throughout the evening.
After the 18-hole round, the night came alive with a surprise performance by rapper Fabolous, who energized the crowd with hits like “You Be Killin’ Em” and “Make Me Better.”
The Eastside Golf Invitational aimed to continue its support for the Morehouse College golf team, raising a significant financial contribution to benefit the team’s student-athletes, thanks to presenting sponsor Mercedes-Benz USA. Over the years, Eastside Golf has donated nearly $300,000 to Morehouse College's golf program, where co-founders Olajuwon Ajanaku and Earl Cooper led the team to a national title in 2010. This year’s invitational marks another key milestone in the multi-year partnership between Eastside Golf and Mercedes-Benz USA, united in their efforts to promote inclusivity in golf and support HBCU programs.
The second annual Eastside Golf Invitational capped off a monumental week and a half for the brand, which began on September 4th with the announcement of its first-ever footwear collaboration with Nike, followed by its debut retail pop-up at Shopify NY from September 13-15.
