Actor Tom Hardy (Bane, Venom) Has A Cameo As Frankie Pulitzer On CZARFACE'S "Czartificial Intelligence"

In a surprising twist, renowned actor Tom Hardy, best known for his iconic roles as Bane and Venom, recently disclosed a lesser-known chapter in his artistic journey—a brief foray into the realm of rap. Under the pseudonym Frankie Pulitzer, Hardy made a cameo appearance on the Czarface album "Czartificial Intelligence," collaborating with underground hip-hop duo 7L & Esoteric and Wu-Tang Clan's Inspectah Deck.

This revelation unveils a glimpse into Hardy's youth, where he, alongside his friend Edward Tracy, aspired to carve a niche for themselves in the rap scene. Their joint venture resulted in a mixtape titled "Falling on Your Arse," with Hardy adopting the alias Tommy No.1 and Tracy going by Eddie Too Tall. Tracy took on the role of producing the lo-fi beats, while Hardy showcased his rapping prowess.

Reflecting on this musical escapade, Hardy candidly shared, "I started out rapping when I was 14 or 15, and because I come from a nice middle-class neighborhood, it was a very hard sell, and I wasn't very good!" Unfortunately, the mixtape found itself relegated to the shelf, with Hardy deeming it subpar and failing to meet his standards.

This revelation adds a new dimension to the actor's repertoire, highlighting his willingness to explore diverse artistic expressions beyond the confines of his mainstream cinematic roles. It appears that the music world was of the brink of gaining a rapper named Tommy No.1, but, as Hardy humorously notes, the project was shelved because, in his own words, "it wasn't very good."
